ROME, July 11 (Xinhua) -- Juventus twice came back from a goal down at the Allianz Stadium to hold Atalanta 2-2 on Saturday, as Cristiano Ronaldo's two penalties prevented the Bianconeri from a home defeat.

Atalanta entered Saturday's game with an all-time club record of nine consecutive wins in Serie A, but fumbled the lead twice, only taking home one point against the Old Lady.

Atalanta broke the deadlock in the 16th minute when Duvan Zapata burst into the box after a give-and-go with Alejandro Gomez, placing a low strike into the far corner.

Juventus got back on level terms in the 54th minute, when Paulo Dybala's cross hit Marten de Roon's arm in the box, and Cristiano Ronaldo kept his cool to convert from the spot.

The Dea restored the lead in the 80th minute with the combination of two substitutes when Luis Muriel squared for Ruslan Malinovskyi to smash home from the edge of the box.

However, Muriel made a mistake in the dying minutes, giving Juve another spot-kick after his hand blocked Gonzalo Higuain's cross. It was Ronaldo again who stepped up, helping his team claim a point.

Lazio continued their poor performance as they suffered a three-game losing streak after a 2-1 home defeat to Sassuolo, the Biancocelesti's fourth defeat in six after the resumption of Serie A.

Giacomo Raspadori's attempt in the 52nd minute wiped out Luis Alberto's opener, and Francesco Caputo's last-gasp winner helped Sassuolo turn the game around.

Roma staged a second-half show to crush Brescia 3-0 with Federico Fazio, Nikola Kalinic and Nicolo Zaniolo on target.
