SARAJEVO, July 21 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a heavy toll on football in 2020, but players of the Bosnian national team may also remember it as the baby boom season, Bosnian media reported Tuesday.

Midfielder Senad Lulic announced Tuesday on social media that he and his wife Sandra had their third child on July 9. They have been married for 15 years and also have a 7-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Capped 58 times for Bosnia from 2008 to 2017, Lulic currently plays for Italian Serie A club Lazio.

Center-back Ervin Zukanovic and his wife Emina also had their third child in April. Zukanovic plays for Italian side SPAL, which has just been relegated from Serie A.

Bosnia's captain and record appearance maker and goalscorer Edin Dzeko and his wife Amra are also expecting their third child in September, and winger Haris Duljavic and his wife Sara recently welcomed their first child, a daughter. Enditem
