First-ever container cargo from Kolkata via Bangladesh port reaches Agartala

A container cargo was transported between two Indian states through a port situated in Bangladesh on Thursday in order to save distance and time, announced the Ministry of External Affairs Ministry spokesman Anurag Srivastava. "The first time ever movement of container cargo from Kolkata (the capital city of West Bengal state) to Agartala (capital of Tripura state) through the Chattogram Port was successfully concluded," he added.
