SUZHOU, China, July 25 (Xinhua) -- Midfielder Liu Yun was in great form, scoring a brace to help Wuhan Zall beat Qingdao Huanghai 2-0 in the new Chinese Super League (CSL) season here on Saturday.

Both teams started the game at a slow pace until Huanghai forward Gao Xiang surged in the box in the 15th minute, only to miss their best chance with a threatening straight pass to his teammate accidentally hitting the goal post.

Dismantling Huanghai's defense, Leonardo Baptistao led a fast counter-attack from the left, as unnoticed Liu collected a comfortable pass from the Brazilian striker in the box, and broke the deadlock in the 30th minute.

Zall controlled the rhythm and kept Huanghai goalkeeper busy in the second half. Jean Kouassi of Zall jinked several defenders from the left, sweeping in the box and handling a neat back pass, as Liu Yun connected and sealed the game with another goal in the 52nd minute.

Zall continued to pour on the pressure at the offensive end, while the newly promoted team Huanghai wilted, though they made several substitutions in the last minutes. Enditem
