PARIS, July 30 (Xinhua) -- World Athletics on Thursday announced the new dates for the World Race Walking Team Championships Minsk 2020, which have been moved to April 2022.
The World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships were due to be held in May 2020 in Minsk, Belarus, but have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The biennial competitions now have been rescheduled for April 23-24, 2022.
The world governing body of the sport also announced new dates for the World U20 Championships Nairobi 2020, which will be held from August 17-22 next year, one week after the Tokyo Olympic Games.
The 2022 World Athletics Half Marathon Championships in Yangzhou, China have also had a small date change, moving back one week from March 20 to March 27, 2022. Enditem
