YEREVAN, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Armenia on Saturday reported 291 new COVID-19 cases, bringing its total to 38,841, according to the National Center for Disease Control.
Data from the center showed that 560 patients recovered in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 29,557.
Meanwhile, 11 people died during the same period, raising the death toll to 749.
The center said over 165,656 people have been tested for COVID-19 since the country reported its first case on March 1. Enditem
