BOGOTA, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Argentina international goalkeeper Franco Armani has reiterated his commitment to River Plate despite reports linking him with clubs in Mexico and Turkey.

The 33-year-old says he wants to see out his current contract with the Buenos Aires outfit - which expires in June 2022 - before ending his career with former club Atletico Nacional in Colombia.

"I am very happy [at River]. From the day I arrived I've been treated spectacularly and made to feel at home," Armani told Colombian news outlet Rincon del Deporte.

Armani has reportedly attracted the interest of Turkey's Besiktas and Mexican side Pumas, however the only club on his radar, beyond River Plate, is Atletico Nacional, where he played from 2010 to 2018.

"When I left Nacional I made a commitment with their fans and I intend to keep that promise," he said. "Atletico Nacional mean everything to me. They believed in me and saw me grow up as both a footballer and a person. I only have words of gratitude and I'd like to retire there."

Armani won 13 trophies during his time with the Medellin side, including the 2016 Copa Libertadores - South America's top club competition. Enditem
