JAKARTA, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 1,922 within one day to 115,056, with the death toll adding by 86 to 5,388, the health ministry said on Tuesday.

According to the ministry, 1,813 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 72,050.

The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.

Within the past 24 hours, East Java recorded 430 new cases, Jakarta 410, South Kalimantan 119, South Sulawesi 117 and West Java 94.

No more new positive cases were found in six provinces, namely Riau Islands, Bangka Belitung, Lampung, West Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara and Central Sulawesi.
