MUSCAT, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Oman on Friday reported 354 new COVID-19 cases, including 65 non-Omanis, bringing the total infections in the country to 81,067.
The Omani Ministry of Health said in a statement that 1,353 more patients recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 72,263.
It reported 10 new deaths from the virus, taking the death toll in the country to 502.
A statement of the supreme committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic said that the committee decided to end the complete lockdown between governorates from 2 p.m. local time on Friday.
The committee will keep the closure of public places and shops between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. until Aug. 15, the statement added. Enditem
