PRAGUE, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- The 4th International Student Art Festival opened in Prague on Friday, featuring an exhibition of art works of school students from several countries, including the Czech Republic, China, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus and Armenia.

The theme of this year's two-day exhibition is "Art in Quarantine". The students expressed their personal feelings and perceptions of the pandemic and quarantine in the drawings. At the exhibition, some children sent their face masks decorated colorfully by hand.

"During the first half of this year, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the lives of adults and children around the world," said Li Mengling, president of the China-the Czech Republic Cultural Exchange and Promotion Association, and also the organizer of the event, "So, we want to help children to speak about their feelings during this difficult time and make a happy day for them. "

Jointly drawing a picture has become a tradition for the festival every year. On Saturday morning, all participants will have the opportunity to jointly create a picture with a length of 20 meters. Visitors to the festival exhibition could also take part in the painting. Enditem
