MUSCAT, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Omani health ministry on Tuesday announced 206 new COVID-19 infections, raising the total number of confirmed cases in the Sultanate to 85,928, the official Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
Meanwhile, 214 people recovered during the past 24 hours, taking the overall number of recoveries to 81,024, while the death toll increased by four to 689, according to a ministry statement quoted by ONA.
Some 154 patients are currently receiving intensive care treatment, it added. Enditem
