JAKARTA, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 2,880 within one day to 196,989, with the death toll adding by 105 to 8,130, the health ministry said on Monday.
According to the ministry, 2,077 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 140,652.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 1,046 new cases, East Java 307, Central Java 264, West Java 204 and Bali 173. Enditem
