AMMAN, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Jordan on Tuesday reported 103 new cases of coronavirus, the highest daily number of new cases since the spread of the pandemic in the country, increasing the total cases to 2,581 with 19 deaths.
Health Minister Saad Jaber said at a press conference that 12,104 random tests were conducted on Tuesday nationwide, increasing the total number of tests administered in the kingdom to 915,469.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Media Affairs Amjad Adaileh said the government decided to shorten curfew hours across the country as of Wednesday.
