PARIS, Sept. 16 (Xinhua) -- French shares edged up on Wednesday, with the benchmark Paris CAC 40 up 0.13 percent, or 6.49 points, to close at 5,074.42 points.
Of the 40 selected large companies, 22 gained in the day.
European commercial real estate company Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield SE advanced 2.49 percent. Multinational steel manufacturing corporation ArcelorMittal S.A. added 2.04 percent. European multinational aerospace corporation Airbus rose 1.89 percent.
French multinational automobile manufacturer Renault lost 1.75 percent. French industrial group Bouygues shed 1.31 percent. Pernod Ricard, the French company that produces alcoholic beverages, went down by 1.23 percent. Enditem
