BEIRUT, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- Two huge explosions rocked a building storing weapons belonging to Hezbollah in Ain Qana, a village in southern Lebanon on Tuesday, causing an unspecified number of injuries in the area, MTV local TV channel reported.

The blasts caused heavy damage to properties and cars surrounding the building.

Hezbollah deployed its forces in the area of the explosion while preventing people from entering this region.

The local TV channel reported that the blasts may have been caused by technical error. However, the exact cause of the explosions is still unknown.

Local news agency Lebanon News quoted a source at the media office of Hezbollah as saying that the explosions were not aimed to target any Hezbollah official. It added that the source said the explosions took place at a center for storing mines. Enditem
