TBILISI, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- Georgia reported 227 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing its national total to 4,140, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health said.
Of the new cases, 165 were confirmed in the western Adjara region, said the center.
As of Wednesday, Georgia has reported 1,643 recoveries and 24 deaths since the country registered its first confirmed case on Feb. 26, it said. Enditem
