JAKARTA, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 4,284 within one day to 287,008, with the death toll adding by 139 to 10,740, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
According to the ministry, 4,510 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 214,947.
The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 1,159 new cases, West Java 446, Riau 352, Papua 322 and East Java 294.
No more new positive cases were found in Maluku province. Enditem
