TUNIS, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Tunisian Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi announced on Saturday night a series of measures to limit the rapid spread of COVID-19 in Tunisia.
In a speech on state TV, Mechichi urged for the rigorous application of the sanitary protocol and closure of any space that does not follow the anti-COVID-19 measures.
Tunisian Health Ministry on Saturday reported 1,223 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number of infections to 20,944 with 276 deaths in the country. Enditem
