An expert (L) estimates the output of saline-alkali tolerant rice at a demonstration base in Hanting District of Weifang City, east China's Shandong Province, Oct. 16, 2020. A total of 50,000 mu (about 3,333 hectares) of saline-alkali tolerant rice at the demonstration base has achieved a yield of 625.3 kg per mu.
