RABAT, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Egyptian Pyramids joined Renaissance Berkane in the CAF Confederation Cup final, after defeating Guinean side Horoya Conakry 2-0 Tuesday at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco.

Substitute Ibrahim Hassan scored in the 74th minute, and skipper Abdalla Mohamed scored one minute later.

The VAR intervened to cancel a goal by Alseny Camara, who thought he had reduced the deficit for the Guineans in the 87th minute, as he was adjudged to have received the ball from an offside position.

In the first semifinal of the 2019-20 CAF Confederation Cup Renaissance Berkane beat Hassania Agadir 2-1 in an all-Moroccan match in Rabat on Monday.

The final is set to take place on Sunday in the Moroccan capital behind closed doors.

It's the second consecutive CAF Confederation Cup final appearance for RS Berkane, and the first time ever for the Pyramids. Enditem
