The International Monetary Fund (IMF) said Egypt is the only country in the Middle East and North Africa that will witness positive GDP growth, expected at 3.5%, in 2020. The remarks were published in the organization's latest report on the Middle East and Central Asia's economic outlook. Other countries in the group are projected to see negative growth in 2020, with a rebound to 2.2% growth in 2021.
