Chinese automaker SAIC Motor launched its first self-operated sea route to Europe on Tuesday. Its largest RoRo ship, SAIC Anji Phoenix, loaded with 1,800 new energy vehicles departed for Europe. The route is also the first self-managed Europe route in China's automotive industry. The ship will directly reach Bristol Port in Britain and finally arrive at Zeebrugge Port in Belgium. The route will cut transport time by a week and reduce transport cost as well. It is expected to run once a month to meet the demand of international trade.
