ZHUJI, China, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Darius Adams pocketed a game-high 27 points in the American's first game of the 2020-21 Chinese Basketball Association league (CBA) here on Friday, helping his Qingdao Eagles side beat the Tianjin Pioneers 104-96 for their third straight victory.

Qingdao established a 16-10 lead after the tip-off as Zhao Xuhong and Shao Yinglun combined for six points, and had a nine-point advantage by the end of the first quarter.

Tianjin fought back and narrowed the gap to six points as the first half ended.

Adams led Qingdao to extend their lead to double digits in the final quarter and seal the victory.
