BEIJING, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- Xinhua Finance, a national financial information platform initiated by the China Economic Information Service under Xinhua News Agency, on Friday launched a foreign exchange information service system in a bid to aid financial institutions in better serving the real economy.
Designed to serve forex transactions and connect the financial institutions with enterprises, the system has formed an ecosystem of financial information services integrating the data, market information, research reports and analyzing tools of Xinhua Finance.
At present, it offers quotation varieties, including forex spot transactions, forex forward transactions, and forex swap transactions, among others.
The system will act as a bridge connecting financial institutions and various firms, help lower transaction costs and boost the facilitation of trade and investment, said Gong Xixiang, secretary general of Xinhua News Agency. Enditem
