BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league's governing body Saturday announced that Zhejiang Lions point guard Sun Minghui was named the league's Player of the Week for the first edition during the 2020-21 season.
Sun averaged 36.0 points, 8.5 assists and 5.0 steals in two matches over the past week for Zhejiang.
The Chinese international posted 41 points, seven assists and seven steals against the Shanghai Sharks in his side's season debut, before registering 31 points and 10 assists when taking on the defending champions Guangdong Southern Tigers on Friday.
