RABAT, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Morocco on Saturday welcomed the signing of a cease-fire agreement by the Libyan parties in Geneva under the auspices of the United Nations, and considered it a "very positive development."
Morocco congratulates the Libyan parties for this achievement and calls for creating an atmosphere for progress towards a political solution, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita told the press following his talks with visiting Speaker of Libya's House of Representatives Aguila Saleh.
He reiterated Morocco's firm support to the efforts and initiatives of the Libyans to reach a solution that "preserves Libya's national unity and sovereignty and avoids foreign interference." Enditem
