ACCRA, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- The Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Wednesday urged its 18 premier league clubs to adhere strictly to the COVID-19 safety measures ahead of the 2020-21 season.
At a virtual meeting with chief club owners and administrators, GFA general secretary Prosper Harrison Addo outlined the comprehensive safety measures for the premier league clubs to ensure an incident-free season.
Addo further observed that the GFA would train club safety and security officers on the measures to take before, during, and after games on each match day to "ensure strict adherence to safety protocols."
The Ghanaian premier league is scheduled to begin on November 13 after almost eight months of inactivity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Enditem
