BELGRADE, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- French team Bourg-en-Bresse convincingly beat Serbian Partizan 89-76 in the fifth round of the Eurocup here on Wednesday.
The guest team had a stunning 10-2 run to start the contest, played at the empty Hala Sportova.
Although the Serbian team attempted a comeback with precise three-point shooting, Bourg quickly developed a double-digit lead before halftime thanks to a great performance by Pierre Pelos.
Danilo Andjusic helped Bourg maintain the lead to the end.
Pelos scored 28 points for Bourg, and Andjusic added 23 points and four assists.
Nemanja Gordic stood out for Partizan with 15 points.
With three defeats in the tournament so far, Partizan sinks to third place in Group A, while Bourg climbs to the second position, behind Joventut Badalona. Enditem
