BEIJING, Nov. 5 (Xinhua) -- One new imported case of COVID-19 was reported in Beijing on Wednesday, the municipal health commission said Thursday.
The case was a recovered patient testing negative for COVID-19 on Oct. 30 in Sweden. But her test results turned positive again on Wednesday during customs quarantine in Beijing.
The 31-year-old woman is a local of central China's Hubei Province working in Sweden, who left Sweden on Monday and arrived in Beijing on Tuesday via Denmark.
The patient has been transferred to the Beijing Ditan Hospital for treatment, and all close contacts on flight have been put under quarantine, the commission said.
No new locally transmitted confirmed, asymptomatic, or suspected cases of COVID-19 were reported in Beijing on Wednesday. Enditem
