Brunei reports no new COVID-19 cases for 4 weeks

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Nov. 19 (Xinhua) -- Brunei reported no new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday with the national tally standing at 148.

It marked the 28th consecutive day without new cases since Oct. 22 when the country recorded an imported case from Kuala Lumpur.

According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, there is no active case being treated at the National Isolation Center. The total number of recovered cases remains at 145.

Currently 592 returned overseas travellers are quarantined in mandatory isolation at the monitoring centers designated by the government.

There have been three deaths so far from the COVID-19 pandemic in Brunei. Enditem
