BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Shanghai and Shenzhen bourses had around 1.12 million new investors in October, up 41.11 percent from the same period last year.
But the figure was down 27.33 percent from September, according to the China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited.
By the end of October, the total number of securities investors stood at 174.62 million, up 10.44 percent year on year.
