Singapore reports 5 new COVID-19 cases

SINGAPORE, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Ministry of Health (MOH) reported five new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Saturday, bringing the country's total tally to 58,148.

All of the new cases are imported cases.

On Saturday, six more COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals and community isolation facilities. In all, 58,064 people have fully recovered from the coronavirus epidemic, the ministry said.

There are currently 22 active cases being treated in hospitals, with one of them in critical condition held in the intensive care unit.

A total of 34 people are being isolated and cared for at community facilities, who have mild symptoms or are clinically well but confirmed positive with the COVID-19 infection.
