RIO DE JANEIRO, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Uruguay international midfielder Giorgian de Arrascaeta scored one goal and set up another as Flamengo beat Coritiba 3-1 in their Brazilian Serie A clash here on Saturday.
Bruno Henrique put the hosts ahead in the third minute by heading home after Arrascaeta's lofted pass from the right side of the penalty area.
Arrascaeta then netted his fourth goal of the campaign with a first-time finish after Mauricio Isla's cross.
Rene completed the rout by muscling past two defenders and firing a low shot into the bottom right corner.
The result marked Flamengo's first league win since October 18 and left the reigning champions as provisional leaders in the 20-team standings. Coritiba dropped to 18th with just five wins from 22 matches. Enditem
