5.7 km of Bangladesh's 6 km-long Padma Bridge completed

A span is installed on pillars of the Padma Bridge at the construction site on the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, Nov. 21, 2020. Engineers of China Railway Major Bridge Engineering Group Co, Ltd. (MBEC) have successfully installed the 38th span of Bangladesh's Padma Bridge. The 3,140-ton span was placed between pillar-1 and pillar-2 on Saturday, Dewan Md Abdul Kader, manager of Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project from the Bangladesh Bridge Authority told Xinhua on Sunday.
