ISLAMABAD, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani security forces had killed two commanders of the militant group of the Islamic State (IS) in Bajaur tribal district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, security officials in the area said on Monday.

The forces carried out an intelligence-based operation Sunday night and raided an IS hideout and killed the militant commanders named Zubair and Aziz-ur-Rehamn, security officials told reporters in Bajaur. A security official was also injured during the exchange of fire.

Zubair was wanted by the security forces for his involvement in terrorist acts. Security officials said that a huge quantity of explosives, rockets, IEDs and landmines were also recovered from the hideout.
