TBILISI, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Georgia registered a record high of 4,780 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the national tally to 123,470, according to the country's National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC).
Out of the new cases, 1,863 were confirmed in the capital city of Tbilisi, said the NCDC.
As of Friday, 102,270 patients across the country have recovered from the disease, while 1,161 others have died, it added.
Georgia reported its first confirmed case on Feb. 26. Enditem
