LONDON, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- British stocks rose on Friday, with the benchmark FTSE 100 Index up by 0.07 percent, or 4.65 points, to close at 6,367.58 points.
Rightmove, a UK-based online real estate portal company, soared 2.90 percent, the top gainer of the blue chips. GVC Holdings and Smith & Nephew increased by 2.66 percent and 2.58 percent, respectively.
Severn Trent, a UK-based water company, was the worst performer in the blue chips, with its shares losing 2.53 percent. DCC, an international sales, marketing and support services group, dropped 2.34 percent.
