JERUSALEM, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Bahraini Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani will arrive in Israel on Tuesday with an official delegation to promote economic ties between the two countries, Israel said on Sunday.

According to a statement by Israeli foreign ministry, Al Zayani will arrive in Israel for a three-day trip. He is scheduled to hold meetings with Israeli government and trade officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi, and Economy and Trade Minister Amir Peretz.

The Bahraini minister will be accompanied by a delegation of dozens of businessmen and trade officials to encourage investments and economic ties between the two countries.

Al Zayani recently met with Israel Export and International Cooperation Institute Chairman Adiv Baruch and Dov Kotler, CEO of Hapoalim Bank, Israel's largest bank, who arrived in the Gulf state as part of a delegation of Israeli trade officials.

The reciprocal visits come as Israel and Bahrain warm up their ties following the signing on a U.S.-brokered normalization agreement in September. Enditem
