BEIRUT, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Lebanese Caretaker Prime Minister Hassan Diab said Sunday that Beirut port's blasts are caused by rampant corruption in Lebanon, OTV local TV channel reported.
"The disaster of the port is the crime of the century and it is one of the biggest explosions in the history. It is a disaster for Lebanon, Beirut and all the Lebanese," Diab said.
Diab also insisted that corruption must be combated by all means.
Two huge blasts rocked Beirut's port on Aug. 4, killing at least 190 people, wounding around 6,000 others and leaving 300,000 people homeless. Enditem
