Indonesia reports inflation at 0.28 pct in November

JAKARTA, Dec. 1 (Xinhua) -- Indonesia recorded an inflation of 0.28 percent month-on-month in November, continuing the inflation trend in the previous month, said Statistics Indonesia on Tuesday.

The biggest contributor to the inflation in November was the increase in several expenditure groups such as foods, beverages, and tobacco, of 0.86 percent, the health care, of 0.32 percent, and the transportation, of 0.30 percent.

The Indonesian statistics agency noted that the inflation rate for the January-November period was recorded at 1.23 percent, and the annual inflation at 1.59 percent.

Last October, Indonesia recorded an inflation of 0.07 percent. Enditem
