RAMALLAH, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- A senior Palestinian official said on Wednesday the Palestinian leadership has adopted three paths to get out of the Palestinian political impasse.

Secretary-General of Fatah Movement's Central Committee Jibril Rajoub told reporters that Palestine is suffering from a real political impasse, whether it is internal or regional, due to the unlimited American support to the Israeli government.

"All of us know that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu exploited the current U.S. administration to impose new facts on the ground, though all of them violate the international law," Rajoub said.

"For this, the Palestinian leadership has reviewed all the political changes that have occurred during the past four years, and adopted three paths to get out of our Palestinian crises, especially with the arrival of a new American administration that differs from the current U.S. administration," he added.

Based on the leadership's instructions, we must restore the Palestinian reconciliation as soon as possible, activate and develop the popular resistance by adopting new mechanisms, as well as strengthen the diplomatic ties with Arab countries, especially Egypt and Jordan, he explained.

He clarified that restoring the Palestinian reconciliation will help the Palestinians to be accepted as a unified partnership to put an end to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, based on the international legitimacy resolutions.

Strengthening relations with Egypt and Jordan will help the Palestinians build a tripartite dialogue that adopts a vision to deal with all challenges, he noted. Enditem
