SANTIAGO, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- Chile on Thursday reported 1,507 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the national tally to 547,223.
According to the Chile's Ministry of Health, there are currently 9,104 active infections while 530,470 patients have recovered from the disease since the first case was diagnosed in the country in March.
The ministry also reported 81 more COVID-19 fatalities, raising the nationwide count to 15,519.
This week, Chile reopened its borders to foreign visitors, but restricted entry to a single gateway, the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in the capital Santiago. Enditem
