The last sliced girder was installed on Chengjiang bridge on the Guiyang-Nanning high-speed railway in Du'an, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The 15.5-kilometer-long bridge will be the largest bridge on the railway. Construction of the bridge is expected to finish by April next year. With a total length of 512 km, the Guiyang-Nanning high-speed railway is expected to go into service in 2023. With a designed maximum speed of 350 kph, the rail line will cut travel time between the two cities from over 10 hours to 2.5 hours.
