WELLINGTON, Dec. 17 (Xinhua) -- The first racing day of the America's Cup World Series Auckland was concluded on Thursday, with New York Yacht Club American Magic leading the provisional ranking after winning both matches they raced.
In second was Emirates Team New Zealand, third Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, and fourth INEOS TEAM UK.
Races were held with a southwesterly breeze ranged between 15 and 19 knots. The top speed of the day was 49.1 knots, reached by Emirates Team New Zealand.
