Israel says imports from China up 12.3 pct in Jan.-Nov.

JERUSALEM, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- Israeli imports from China rose by 12.3 percent in the first 11 months of 2020 despite the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a report published by the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics on Sunday.

From January to November, Israeli imports from China, excluding diamonds, amounted to 8.5 billion U.S. dollars, compared to 7.57 billion dollars in the same period in 2019.

Meanwhile, Israeli exports to China decreased by 2.3 percent year on year during the first 11 months, totalling 4.26 billion dollars.

The report also said Israel's total imports from January to November stood at 62.4 billion dollars, down 10.2 percent year on year. Enditem
