TBILISI, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- Georgia reported 1,881 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing its total to 218,724, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) said.
Among the new cases, 863 were confirmed in the capital city of Tbilisi, it said.
As of Friday, 196,220 recoveries have been reported, said the center, adding that over 1,830,000 tests have been conducted nationwide so far.
Georgia reported its first confirmed case on Feb. 26. Enditem
