BEIJING, Jan. 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese feature film "A Little Red Flower" led box office chart on the mainland Thursday, grossing 236.44 million yuan (about 36.24 million U.S. dollars).
The film, co-starring Jackson Yee and Liu Haocun, secured the winner of the box office right after its debut on Dec. 31, data from the China Movie Data Information Network showed Friday.
Coming in second was the Chinese comedy "Warm Hug," also released on Thursday, raking in about 193.45 million yuan.
It was followed by Chinese action crime thriller "Shock Wave 2" which earned about 54.42 million yuan on Thursday. The film has topped the box office for a week since its Dec. 24 debut, with a total earning of 601 million yuan. Enditem
