BEIJING, Feb. 24 (Xinhua) -- Domestic comedy "Hi, Mom" continued to top the Chinese mainland box office on Tuesday, with still strong momentum in box office performance it has built up since the Spring Festival holiday.
On Tuesday, "Hi, Mom" pocketed about 118 million yuan (about 18 million U.S. dollars), according to data from the China Movie Data Information Network Wednesday.
While the film's total box office had reached 4.29 billion yuan over the 12 days of screening since its debut, it has overtaken the 2019 American superhero film "Avengers: Endgame" to become the fourth top earner in China's all-time box office chart.
"Detective Chinatown 3," the second-highest-grossing film on Tuesday, finished the day with 42.98 million yuan in revenue.
Chinese comedy-drama "Endgame" ranked the third with a revenue of about 22.44 million yuan. Enditem
