Poland tightens mask mandate as COVID-19 wave looms

The Polish government has announced new restrictions in an effort to curb a recent rise in new COVID-19 infections officially dubbed the "third wave." Over the course of this month, the daily infection rate has steadily climbed after a period of stability.
