Photo taken on March 2, 2021 shows the construction site of the Peljesac Bridge near Komarna, Croatia. The bridge's six pillars have recently been successfully capped, marking the completion of the concrete structure of the bridge. The next stage of construction will focus on the installation of steel box girders and stayed cables. In January 2018, a Chinese consortium led by the China Road and Bridge Corporation won the bid to build the first phase of the bridge and its access roads, with construction starting six months later.
